Dental fillings are amongst the most common dental procedures. Our experienced dentists at Dentistry At Somerset have restored the healthy position and appearance of hundreds of patient’s mouths using dental fillings.
Before the procedure, either Dr. Niegsch or Dr. Garman will numb the teeth and gums to avoid and lesson discomfort. During the procedure, the dentist will drill out any decay in the tooth and will replace the area with a filling.
After the procedure, the patient may experience sensitive and pain. This is normal. With time, the discomfort should subside.
In our office, we use composite fillings. These fillings are durable, ideal for small- to mid-size restorations, and share the same color as the natural tooth. A patients teeth will look just as they did before, but without the decay.
