I had a lot of dental work done as a kid, so I had a lot of orthodontic work, fillings, all of that jazz. And I think what really drew me in was my orthodontist really gave me the confidence in myself after fixing my smile. And I just think seeing other patients become comfortable being with the dentist and then see their transformation and their confidence grow, is just really rewarding.
As we continue education in utilizing outside courses, it benefits the patient because we get more knowledge and we’re able to progress with the way dentistry is progressing. It’s an evolving field and there are new improvements and new technologies, and being able to utilize those in our practice gives them more knowledge, a better experience in making them more comfortable and allowing the procedures to go more smoothly as well.
I think it’s seeing completed care. You’re able to follow the family through and you can see all family members and see their care from the ages of 1st year they’re here up to late age and elderly ages. And I just think being able to have a great connection with the patient and maintaining that connection throughout the years is just super-rewarding.
